We always order the half chicken combo and are so satisfied every time. My Peruvian boyfriend loves this spot as it is as good as home. Good service. Ambiance is like a fast food spot. Not too many tables but it is great being able to see them cook through the window!
Brothers Chicken, where the aji amarillo tastes like you're in Peru. We've ordered from this place three times, and it's been delightful. We've had the half/whole chicken and most of the sandwiches, and they were all very flavorful. If you've been to Don Tito's, then this is as close as you'll get out here! The portions are big, so expect to come back to your plate several times to finish. We've gotten the sandwiches a few times, and the flavors were really nice! Nothing bland about these sandwiches. Only downside is sometimes they were a little dry. The maracuya drink is super yummy and refreshing, and the empanadas are a good size. The yucca fries were also a solid purchase, and I'd come back for some flan. Overall, we'd come back for the chicken tself!
Ok 5 stars ALONE for their green sauce. That stuff is life-changing, I'm serious. I've also had their tamales. They're good, but the green sauce on them takes them to next-level lol. Seriously, that sauce is EVERYTHING!
The food was amazing. I tried the Rotisserie Chicken Sandwich with Yuca Fries with an Aji Verde. The chicken sandwich was delicious and perfectly seasoned. The bread was delicious and soaked up the chicken juices in all the right ways! If you like really flavorful chicken pot pie you'll love this sandwich. The fries were perfectly fried and tasted wonderful dipped into the Aji Verde sauce. If you can order ahead. This was my first time to the area and this restaurant and it was VERY busy at 2pm on a Sunday...but it was worth the wait.
The customer service is great. It's small but incredibly flavorful! This is probably as close as you will get to eating pollo a la brasa in the Bay area. There is no other restaurant that comes close to the flavor of Peru, but this one does! This price is reasonable and your my mouth is watering by writing this review. I don't have pics cause I'm always eating my meal before I get it.
